Oeiras Parque, opened in 1998 in Oeiras city, is considered one of the main shopping centers in the Greater Lisbon region. Between 2018 and 2019, it was the subject of extensive remodelling and expansion, including new commercial spaces, new cinemas, a refurbished food court area plus a new floor, and the complete renovation of its playground.

Play Planet was the company chosen to develop an original playground, matching the new look and decoration of the center, based on wooden pieces with a clean and modern design.

The work space corresponded to an area between stores with about 160m2, with a geometrical shape following the layout of the surrounding terrazzo floor. For this “Play Woodland” several pieces covered with wood and synthetic grass were developed, such as the activity center “Greenhouses Kompakt” (Ref. P18C017), the baby slide “Greenhouse Slide” (Ref. P18C008), and the interactive gantry with various electronic games “Greenhouse Interactive” (Ref P18C010), which were complemented with other isolated pieces such as a grass-lined tunnel. The safety floor was executed on site with SBR and EPDM rubber, with the colours following the terrazzo stereotomy. Subsequently, we completed this Woodland with cute animals in synthetic grass, perfect for hugging and cuddling.
