This project task was to design, construct and install two original and innovative playgrounds at the Xyami Nova Vida Shopping Center in Luanda.

The Xyami brand aims to convey the values ​​of proximity, familiarity, trust and genuineness through a positive, warm and fun image, with a connection to its proudly Angolan origins and its Shopping Centers with the slogan “Center of our Homeland”.

The intention was then to develop fresh, colourful and bold spaces, with which Angolans can identify socially and culturally.

For the outer space, with an area of ​​approximately 17,6 x 11,8 m, we designed the “NEW LIFE TOWER” (Ref.ª P15C039), an imposing structure with a central tower with 6,23m height, from where users can reach 3 coloured tubular slides. For the remaining space we added a family spring “EQUILIBRIUM SPRING” (Ref.ª P15C021) and two half spheres of the HAPPY range. To further enhance the profusion of colour we used a safety flooring in in situ rubber, in warm and vibrant tones.

For the indoor playground, occupying an area between shops with 30 x 3m, intended for younger users, we designed a thematic equipment with the shape of a baby dragon, divided into 4 parts (head, trunk, wings and tail), filled with activities, and also installed with an in situ rubber safety flooring in warm colours.
