Torreshopping, inaugurated in April 2005, is the first shopping center in the Middle Tagus, located in Torres Novas, in the district of Santarém, in the province of Ribatejo, Portugal. This center has 70 stores, a hypermarket, 14 restaurants, cinemas, bowling alley and parking. To expand its family offer, all that was missing was a good playground.

It was with this objective in mind that we were contacted to design and build a different play area, with informal play, which would give the user the feeling of playing in a garden.

Thus, we have chosen to play with the topography on a completely flat space, between flower pots and some columns. Small hills were built, in which we placed bespoke slope slides, a tunnel, ropes and a climbing net. We also complemented the space with an interactive element for the little ones, and covered the entire space with synthetic grass, recreating a small garden for exploration and lots of fun.
