The Sud Lisboa was the first project of SANA Group outside the hotel business, consisting of two buildings, brothers in appearance and complementary in the service, the Sud Terrazza and Sud Hall, installed in the riverside area of Belém (Lisbon). These include a restaurant, a bar, dance floor, and a rooftop with a panoramic pool overlooking the Tagus River. Apart from the magnificent view, the architecture and the decoration of the space are, by themselves, a distinctive and surprising element, with both touches of modernity and relaxation as well as outstanding refinement.

The landscaping project was in charge of the Landscape Architecture office TOPIARIS, which contacted Play Planet in order to develop a playground, contiguous to the buildings, levelling the same boldness and originality.

For SUD KIDS Play Planet designed a sculptural and conceptual activity tower, “Sphere Activity” (Ref. P17C005), consisting of two spherical towers with round acrylic windows and top openings, supported by a central metal foot and connected by a rope tunnel, and with exit by two tubular slides. To complement the space, we installed two semi-spheres, “Happy M” (Ref. S13PIA25) and “Happy L” (Ref. S13PIA24), and two inclusive swings. At the flooring, covered by built in place EPDM rubber, small mounds were created to add extra dynamism and movement.
