The object of our concept plan was Al Khan Corniche, Sharjah’s waterfront, constituted by two bays with different characteristics. Our target was to capitalize on its unique environment, creating an engaging and interactive waterfront experience that would establish Al Khan as an international destination, providing benefits to the community and supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.

We have planned a fully new organization to the bays, and designed unique leisure and recreation areas, with water and beach attractions, unseen elsewhere. We developed the concept of floating islands, remoted controlled by GPS choosing a pre-programmed route at the architectural main building. These private islands carry their own glass bottom refreshing pool and a small garden with sun chairs, used both for relaxation and contemplation as well as for adventure and sea life exploring. These floating islands as well as the urban art surrounding environment create a dominant high class, elegant, artistic and avant-garde setting, that attracts all kinds of people, from youngsters, families, honeymooners, to corporate and business users, day and night, all year round.
